What’s up, everybody? Reader here, and I’m back from my vacation, and I’m still pumped up from the festivities Saturday night, as we welcomed in the Cruz FM era with a HUGE party, featuring iconic Canadian rockers Honeymoon Suite!
We’d been looking forward to the big night ever since it was announced, and it didn’t disappoint.
The Cruz gang met up at the station and then enjoyed a nice family meal at Mano’s, before heading off to the Gallagher Centre for the show.
East Central Saskatchewan’s own Odd Man Out kicked things off, doing a great job of getting the crowd primed and ready for the main event.
While Odd Man Out was doing their thing, we met up with our VIP guest and then got to enjoy a quick meet-and-greet with the headliners!
What a super-nice bunch of guys! Honeymoon Suite have been touring for years, but they remain a really friendly, down to earth band, who haven’t lost their enthusiasm for what they do.
Then, the Cruz Crue (do you think Motley Crue would object to me calling us that?) took the stage to introduce Honeymoon Suite!
They hit the stage and didn’t waste any time cranking up the volume!
I told you it got loud!
There was a huge crowd on hand and they were ready to party!
Everyone was dancing, pumping their fists and enjoying a few cold ones along the way. I thin it’s safe to say a great time was had by all.
It was so much fun, especially getting to hang with the whole Cruz gang – there’s always a lot going on, and it’s nice to hang out and have some fun when we get the chance to do so!
Did I mention Honeymoon Suite absolutely rocked?
It was a night of hit after hit, from “Stay in the Light,” “Burning in Love” and “Feel it Again,” to “Love Changes Everything” and, of course, “New Girl Now,” the band sounded fantastic, and frontman Johnny Dee was in great form all night!

What more can I say? Honeymoon Suite put on a show that’s going to be talked about for a long time to come!
