Slash, the iconic Guns N’ Roses guitarist, announced the tragic passing of his stepdaughter Lucy-Bleu Knight at 25. In response to the loss, Slash, 58, canceled four dates of his S.E.R.P.E.N.T Tour.
On Instagram, he revealed Lucy-Bleu passed away peacefully in Los Angeles on July 19, 2024. Describing her as a talented artist and passionate dreamer, he requested privacy for the family. The cause of her death remains unknown.
Slash had rekindled his relationship with Lucy’s mother, Meegan Hodges, in 2015. Meegan also shared the heartfelt statement on Instagram, expressing her love.
Lucy, with 35,000 Instagram followers, worked at Electric Lady Management. After the announcement, a reflective post appeared on her account.
Slash cited ‘unforeseen circumstances’ for the tour cancellations but confirmed the tour would resume in Toronto on July 28, 2024. Celebrity friends, including Violet Grohl, Flea, and Susan McKagan, offered their condolences and support.
