A couple scheduled to marry this weekend argued over signing a prenuptial agreement, resulting in the bride’s arrest for domestic battery, according to court records. Investigators report that 26-year-old Molly Rose Hogan and her fiancé had a heated dispute late Sunday night in their St. Petersburg, Florida home.
The groom told police that Hogan grabbed him by the head and struck him multiple times on his chest, torso, back, and legs, causing several injuries. He said the argument over the prenuptial agreement triggered the attack. The victim tried to escape but was eventually separated from Hogan by witnesses, including his brother, who reported that Hogan bit him while he was trying to intervene. Alcohol was a factor in the late-night altercation.
A judge has ordered Hogan to have no contact with her fiancé or his brother. The wedding, set for Saturday, July 27, remains uncertain. Meanwhile, their online wedding registry is still active, inviting friends and family to contribute cash gifts.
