Fleetwood Mac Unveils Live Album: ‘Mirage Tour ’82’ Revisited!

Fleetwood Mac is set to release a live album later this year from their 1982 tour supporting the Mirage album.

“Mirage Tour ’82” includes 22 tracks from two sold-out performances at the Los Angeles Forum that year. According to a Rhino press release, “In September 1982, Fleetwood Mac kicked off a 31-city U.S. tour to promote Mirage, their fourth consecutive multiplatinum album and third No. 1 in the U.S.” The album will be available on September 20 in 3LP, 2CD, and digital formats.

This release is a welcome surprise for fans, especially after Stevie Nicks recently stated that “there’s no chance of putting Fleetwood Mac back together” following Christine McVie’s death in 2022. McVie’s final show with the band was in 2019 when Fleetwood Mac concluded a tour without Lindsey Buckingham, who was dismissed in 2018. Instead, the band toured with Crowded House guitarist Neil Finn and former Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers member Mike Campbell.
