Chris Beaudry will represent the Saskatchewan Party in Kelvington-Wadena in this fall’s election, securing the nomination last night in Wadena.

A former Humboldt Broncos coach, Beaudry has dedicated himself to mental health advocacy since the 2018 tragedy involving the hockey club.

He launched an online mental health course for students through the Sun West School Division and collaborated with the Canadian Mental Health Association.

Beaudry is also deeply involved in his community, serving on boards such as the Prairie North Co-operative and the Rose Valley SCC.

He and his wife, Richelle, live on their family farm near St. Front with their three daughters.

The Saskatchewan Party has now nominated 56 candidates for the 2024 provincial election
