Melville Millionaires offence sputters again in road loss to Humboldt Broncos

MILLIONAIRES 1, BRONCOS 3

The Melville Millionaires are now winless in their last six games after a 3-1 road loss on Friday night to the Humboldt Broncos.

Tre Fouqette and Connor Miller scored goals for the Broncos in the first and second periods respectively to give the home team a 2-0 through two periods.

Raiden Zacharias cut the Mils deficit to within one just over five minutes into the third but Marik Mamic added some insurance on the powerplay with 4:47 to go to help seal the win.

Eduoard Gauthier made 37 saves on 38 shots to earn the win in the Broncos goal while Mils netminder Nick Genette stopped 34 of 37 in the loss.

The Millionaires return to action on Tuesday night hosting the Viterra-division leading Weyburn Red Wings.
